In collaboration with the Kentucky Network to Transform Teaching (KyNT3), CTL developed a hard copy and virtual brochure designed to motivate and inform teachers, administrators, and higher education institutions to facilitate and support accomplished teaching for every student. The brochure provides a “road map” for all stakeholders to follow as teachers grow professionally, boosting student achievement and transforming schools. Teachers develop as learners, as leaders and as collaborators as they pursue National Board Certification, use student work to assess needs, seek professional development based on student needs, and mentor and are mentored by colleagues. Schools become collaborative learning organizations, drawing on all strengths within a building, and colleges and universities facilitate and support ccomplished teaching at both the pre-service and in-service levels.
