We hope you’ll find our CTL blog interesting, thought-provoking and maybe even inspiring… Together we can build a virtual community focused on teaching and learning that will enrich all of our professional lives.

For several years now CTL has used technology to accomplish and extend its work.  Blogs, wikis and other social networks such as Nings, have helped us keep in touch with principals and teachers as they strive to improve learning conditions for students.  So we’re excited to apply technology in the form of a blog, to contribute to the broader field of education as well as establish opportunities for ongoing conversations with colleagues.  CTL’s brand new blog is called Co-Creating Solutions, its title reflecting the way we work with our educational partners and clients.

Future CTL-authored posts will feature classroom and school level innovations aimed at increasing student learning, as well as the work CTL does with clients and partners around co-construction of solutions.  In addition, we hope to host guest bloggers from other organizations: federal and state education leaders, experts in policy, evaluation and testing, and teaching artists.  The virtual world allows us to invite colleagues from far away, including other countries, to join our community and share practices that can transform education.

We hope you’ll find our CTL blog interesting, thought-provoking and maybe even inspiring.  Please feel free to respond to blog posts, weigh in on issues and offer your insights and experiences.  Together we can build a virtual community focused on teaching and learning that will enrich all of our professional lives.
