“I like to go into schools and see the work that I’ve helped put together in the halls and in the classrooms. I like to see the difference in the schools that comes about as a result.”
Callie is the primary contact for CTL’s Striving Readers and community college partners, coordinating logistics, meeting and travel arrangements, supplies, and our in-house literacy library. She also provided administrative support for CTL’s work in Tanzania, East Africa, and with GEAR UP Kentucky, the Middle Grades Project, and Different Ways of Knowing.
Callie came to CTL from Vocational Economics, Inc., where she served as executive administrator to the chief operating officer and vice president of communications. She also served as executive secretary and office manager at the University of Louisville’s James Graham Brown Cancer Center, where she worked with the director of the blood and marrow transplant program.
Callie has been an officer of the U of L Business and Professional Women’s Association, and is an active community and church volunteer. She is married with a grown son and daughter, and two grandchildren.
