Kathy Melvin, president of Business Integrated Communications (BIC), has more than 25 years experience in communications and media. Her specific areas of expertise include health care, education, destination marketing and hotels and restaurants.

Kathy is a graduate of Indiana University and began her career as a newspaper reporter for the Bloomington Herald-Times. She has done national media relations for companies such as Toyota Motor Manufacturing, United Parcel Service, and Indiana University and its eight campuses.  

Kathy received the APR (Accredited in Public Relations) designation from the Public Relations Society of America, a title shared by about 6,000 PR professionals nationally.
