Middle Grades Reform

From 1997 to 1999, CTL worked in partnership with the University of Kentucky to conduct a longitudinal research study in seven Kentucky middle schools on strategies to strengthen middle grades reform through the use of new arts-infused, integrated curriculum tools. Findings informed the development of the new Different Ways of Knowing (DWoK) middle grades model and the design of professional development curriculum units for the Math-in-the-Middle program.
